  • Understanding God’s Unconditional Love Through Romans 5:8

    Ever find yourself thinking: “HOW CAN I MAKE GOD LOVE ME?”

    The answer is simple: “YOU CAN’T!”

    ………………….But you can have confidence in God’s love; if you believe the Bible, God’s word.

    Try reading that verse again, this time, read it like this:

    GOD SHOWED HIS LOVE for us!
    WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US!

    Because that’s exactly what that verse means!

    If he loved us BEFORE we knew him, how could he stop loving us ONCE we know him?

    Now, find every translation of God’s Word that includes the new testament scriptures and read that verse – over and over – because it always means the same thing!

    Here’s the King James Version to get you started:

    But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ dies for us,. Romans 8:5 (AKJ)

    You can’t earn something that you were given – God gave you his LOVE before you were even born! He demonstrated this through Christ’s sacrifice – you can’t earn His love, because you already have it.

    John 3:16
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only So, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

    I John 4:9 – 10
    In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
